Hey! I’m Oskar Świerad. I’ve worked in game dev since 2010. I shipped Cyberpunk 2077, following with texpansion Phantom Liberty as a Lead Technical Artist. After that, I’ve worked on the next Witcher title on Unreal Engine 5.
I started Tech Art Aid in 2016 to empower game creators by teaching them best practices from real production experience. In my courses I do my best to make learning efficient. I put an emphasis on quality, deep research and clarity for every video. The goal is to build a comprehensive resource about shaders, procedural techniques, programming art tools and the best optimization practices.
Tech Art Aid YouTube channel was featured in Epic Games’ live stream, Polycount’s front page and on the popular news site 80.lv. I was awarded a MegaGrant by Epic Games in 2020 for my contribution to the Unreal Engine community.
